More hummingbirds

So now, about those borders....
decisions, decisions. Which is better? I have to say, for once in my life, I'm leaning right.
Any input? Please comment if you like.

Wow! Nice Quilt! I would take that as a gift. Ok on the serious side my input would be right. The other thing that helps me is to leave a quilt up on my design wall and walk by it the next day. Something about leaving it overnight.

Lisa, Although I love green, I think the blue works better with the blues. The green is a great idea and would add variety and brighten the quilt. But I think because there's not a lot of that color green in the body of the quilt, it doesn't blend quite as much as the blue. HTH. Stashbuster Kathy in MD

Lisa, i like the idea of the light coming in from the top. The one on the left that is. The dark green on the bottom will add some weight there.

Call me odd but I like the green. It adds brightness and draws the eye inward. Follow your heart you have to live with it.
Beautiful quilt by the way.

I like the little bit of purple I can see on the left! It really makes the flowers stand out...I love your blog!! Now I"m anxious to get a quilt on my short arm frame and get quilting~! Thanks for the inspiration...Beth in chilly AZ (yes we will be below freezing for the 3rd night in a row..)

I like the green, too. It brings out the green in the leaves. But, I agree to leave it overnight, sleep on it and see what you think in the morning.

I like the right too, it'd be nice with a narrow purple border before the green.

Thanks, everyone! I think that we're down to it now. My sister is recommending the one on the right, too, and as we've been working on it together, I think that's the way it's going to go.

As stashbusters, you'd all be happy to know that I cut up and 'filed' all my leftover fabric from the project in my bins...my sewing table is clean! Thanks for the ongoing inspiration!

I, too, like the light blue on the top, like the sky. The green looks good , too but I think it closes it in too much. I think the blue would let my mind wander in the garden and zip around with those hummingbirds.
