School is in, work is on...

Here are our two boys as they set out for school this morning...happy to be going to see their friends, and fully loaded down with gear. They were relieved to know that they could leave a bunch of that stuff at school - not lug it back and forth!

Although we've had a wonderful - and eventful - summer, it's nice to be getting back into routine.

I'm looking forward to predictable working hours again. It was nice to have a little time today (1st day back is always a half day here), and I'm looking forward to some concentrated stitching time tomorrow.

Happy September,

I love your feather work! I just tried that type on a quilt yesterday. I did ok but need more practice.

Glad you like the look of the quilt...I'll post a pic once it's done. I'm still working on it!
